Dark Vibes |Dark Deep Hip Hop Beat

Composed at the beginning of December 2019, this song is an instrumental song that strives to reach our deepest phobias and retrieve images reminiscent of thriller scenes. It achieves this with its heavy aesthetics and the intense low frequencies spectrum. These elements blend harmoniously with the non-stop melody of a bell synth and the repetitive beats of “Crab” VST, which reminds the sound of a lute. Also, the long tail dirty snare with the combination of really high-frequency hats boosts the desirable feeling.

It was written a casual day in the studio, and it was a little bit like an experiment to me. I wanted to combine all the above elements (as many more) and see which of them could fit better and give the right feeling.

Its designation is Deep Dark Trap Beat, it has been written in A Minor, and its tempo is 84 bpm. It is worth noting the interest shown in the hook in which the tempo suddenly drops to 80 bpm. This creates an even deeper and murkier environment that gives the feeling of falling and causing you anxiety. It’s an excellent beat for productions that want to take the listener to shadowy worlds.

Step Trap | Deep Down-Tempo Trap Beat

There is a reason why this particular instrumental is called like that. It was the first muscle effort for me, as a producer, to create a trap beat that is not inferior to anything of the other producers that were in the game at the time. We are talking about 4 years ago (a year after I started my career) where the sound of Trap Music was established worldwide, but still, it had not reached its peak. Of course, even today and forever, there will be improvement points in Trap as well as in any other music genre.

So this is my first step in the Trap music game. It is really simple because the main point was to keep it simple. Two instruments, bass, and drums. That’s all.

Step Trap is a slow and straightforward dark trap instrumental written at 65bpm or 130bpm (depending on how you count it). Its uniqueness has to do with the classic synth sounds that come and meet today in an ambient atmosphere that entices the listener to deep worlds and thoughts.

Poor Rabbit | Dark Sad Rap Beat

Writing another instrumental that combines emotions like these makes me want to look for the source of all these emotions. This one has a weird story behind it, so take a seat because I’ll tell you about it.

The idea for this particular piece came very quickly and unexpectedly when one night, I was returning home after a long night with my friends. We went out early, and we were in bars for many hours. Unfortunately, we had drunk a lot. The time had passed, and it was time to say good night. We said goodbye, and everyone made their way home.

I was walking alone on the sidewalk, and suddenly I felt something following me. I turned sharply to see, and there was nothing. I continued on my way typically, but I still had the feeling that something or someone was behind me. I didn’t pay attention and kept going home. Suddenly I heard a strange sound coming from behind me. I came back, and it was a little rabbit, a little rabbit who had escaped from a house. I understood this from the pink strap around his neck. Another sound was heard from a significant distance this time. It was a lady, and she seemed to be looking for something. The bunny belonged to her daughter. It escaped before she fell asleep and she went out in the middle of the night to find it.

This is the strange story around this dark and slightly sad instrumental. It’s not a story to tell your children one day, but it’s enough to compose a simple and quality beat with a hook.

Lonely | Sad & Dramatic Beat

It’s time to talk about one of the most significant issues of modern times, that of being alone. There is nothing that inspired me to write the following song. Just one day (maybe it was a night…), I decided it was time to “talk” about it.

What is loneliness? Surely being alone in an empty apartment or walking alone on an empty sidewalk are situations that would be described as lonely.

But loneliness is an entirely subjective situation. Many times we find ourselves feeling alone in the crowd. We sit in a bar with friends, we talk casually, and we have a good time, but at some point, the thought passes through our minds that something is wrong.

You realize that, in reality, this is a foreign environment for you and that you do not belong there. You are in this mess just to meet some of your social needs, and even though you are surrounded by people, you feel so alone.

Many times it is difficult to understand such a situation and even more baffling to move away from it. The reason is that on the surface, you see that you are having a good time and that you are a member of the company. But you are unaware of your subconscious that tells you that you do not belong there.

This is a rapid approach to the issue of loneliness that led me to write this sad and dramatic beat and include it in the dark category.

Void | Dark and Mysterious Instrumental

Difficult days have passed for 2020, and we are still on. Lockdown is a new reality, and we feel like prisoners in our own houses. It is hard, but it’s the truth. The virus spreads day by day and everybody feels unsafe. We are vulnerable from all sides. Health, government, public life, economics, and even each other. All we need is support from anywhere we can get it, and of course, solidarity. We have to start to help each other at times like this. If we don’t make the first step…no one will.

So, this situation has driven me for one more time in the studio. This time was for one more sad beat but with an energetic and groovy feeling. This is a feeling which I needed that time more than ever. I was depressed and I wanted a way out! 

So “Void” meant to be that way for me. A hip hop instrumental, with a hook, that took its name from the name of the VST pads that you listen on this song. I hope you would like it and it will give you some strength to move on these difficult days.

Candle | Sad & Mysterious Rap Beat

There is no such great story behind this song. I can say that a part of inspiration is the song “Chandelier” by Sia. Besides, a candle is a part of a chandelier…

But, when you listen to “Candle” it is very obvious that musically there is no relation between this song and “Chandelier”. The main idea is coming from the violin of the song that reminds me of the peaceful and light wind that joins us in the moments of calmness and relaxation. 

But, instead of these moments, there are also, moments of fear and loneliness in the dark. That wind blows slowly and gets one only power, which can terrify you.. to blow and extinguish the only candle that keeps our fears away. This is why this beat got a dark and ambient character.

Trapple | Ambient & Dark Trap Beat

If this title seems like a pun to you, you’re completely right. It’s a complex word that comes from the word Trap (the genre) and the word Apple (the company). The reason that it’s happening is that I made a trap beat using Apple Loops.

I just wanted to use this feature that Logic Pro X provides, so I found a key melody that sounded good to me and I dropped it into my main window. Then, I did the same with a kick and clap beat, and I found a basic bassline that fitted well, too.

The result was fine but I wanted my music to be unique, so I left this instrumental on my hard disk. After some months, I was looking for new beats to include in my “Free Beats” section of my label, It had to be five and I had four. So, I thought to re-arrange this old beat that was made with apple loops. I put two different types of crashes, I split clap from the bassdrum, and I put it in my mixing process. 

It is the simplest beat that I have ever made and the less unique of all, but I wanted something fast to give it untagged, free and with no newsletter subscriptions to the people of Beat Raise.
